National Day of Prayer May 6, 2010

Father, for tears cried, prayers said, hearts lifted to you... For missionaries sent, lives spent taking the Gospel to many lands. For blood shed rivers of red for Freedom's ceaseless cry. Lives given to keep us living the dream our Father's first knew... through storms and nights of fright yet victory's bright sunlight grew. Your light shining into hearts once dark, giving courage to embark and make a a world new. America! Your dream so bold planted in hearts to hold and light the way back to you. Look down again upon our land, wash us from sin that stains our hands and lies that blind our eyes, turn our hearts back to You. A land of choice that that stills the voice of untold lives ne'er given. A land of change who is now in chains to lies believed, sins conceived, restraints thrown to the wind. Lord we cry out to You come visit us again! Our hearts are sore- how much more before the cup is filled and judgment is given? The Church must arise, wipe the slumber from her eyes, and be the voice that cries, for You! "Prepare ye the Way of the Lord!" "Repent the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand"... To be the Light upon the Lamp stand and show Your Glory once again in this land. Oh Lord hear our cry, as it rings through the sky, bring us back to You!

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!

America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!

America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!

America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

This, my beloved friend, says it all: and is true poetic, patriotic, prophetic prayer. And I believe the Church IS being awakened to God, repenting of our sins, being healed of our backsliding, returning to our First Love, changed from Glory to Glory and Faith to Faith, conformed more than ever before into HIS image and likeness...the GLORIOUS Church so all may SEE His Glory, the Glory of the RESURRECTED CHRIST!.

I believe He is awakening ALL humanity with opportunity to behold and believe and receive Him as they behold HIM pouring out signs, wonders and miracles through His Body looking more like Him in mass than ever before. And there will be a MASSIVE Harvest of souls into His Kingdom before His imminent return for His Body... Even so, come quickly, Jesus, changing us, showing Your Wondrous Self THROUGH us, and then coming FOR us to take us HOME with a HUGE increase in Your Family!

We LOVE you, Lord! Marantha!

Nancy - that is so beautiful!
(and God given)

I think you should send it and let people decide for themselves
what to do with it.

God said - not you.
I still can't believe you wrote it. I thought it was from
a long lost famous poet.

(Now don't get "offended" that I said I can't believe you
wrote it) You know what I mean!
It was written for OUR National Day of Prayer.

For some reason I was just so touched with it.
I prayed it out loud and cried.
