Word for 2013

There are already many "Words" that have been given, this is the piece that God has given to me.  I make it a practice to not read other people's prophecies until I have heard from God for myself about the coming year... so if any of this sounds like something you have already heard, it is because we all share the same Holy Spirit.  I trust that you will be strengthened and edified. God Bless You dear reader and Happy New Year to you!

Word for 2013
Look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for not all is as it seems.

As I was contemplating 2013 and asked the Lord for a word… that is what He spoke to me.  I thought about and had a few snapshots in my mind of all these different scenarios that were playing out and what things look like in the natural…   But God’s Word spoke to my heart that there are many things in front of us.  Some are good and some are bad.  But, we cannot walk by sight, or by how we feel. We cannot even use our senses to tell what is really real, for the master deceiver wants to paint a picture so bleak, that we as Christians won’t even open our mouths to speak. But we must speak the Truth of God’s Word.  We must stand on the promises that have always stood. We cannot let go, or draw back now!  We cannot fail to be with Him at the bow.  For though it looks like it, and well you may think, but our ship will not sink, as long as the helm is held by the Masters firm and steady hand. So, it is time to stand! Stand upon your watch to see.  See those things that can not been seen except by the eye of the Spirit as though in a dream.  So stretch out in Faith, dare to believe, that He has given to you what you will need. So now just receive.

Many things are presenting themselves to us, and a great deal of it is in the form of bad news.  2012 has had some disappointments in it and our hope we seem to lose.  Indeed people made promises they could not keep, problems and sorrows seemed to have grown so deep!  Bad things happened with the threat of more in store.  Economic troubles make us want to go hide and just shut the door!  Things heating up in the Middle East, will the drama never cease?  Evil forces want to take Israel down, want to wear her blood like a victory crown.  Israel is not the problem, so don’t cast your blame, for these forces want America’s downfall just the same. The Great Satan they jeer, we don’t want you here! It is the lifelong battle of darkness and light.  But the struggle will not be won only by Power and Might.  It is Spiritual for those who have eyes to see, the natural reminds us of our own mortality.  It all comes down to choices, and what will you choose?  More lies to swallow with more to lose.  Or, trust the light of One you cannot see.  Step out of Babylon’s bondage and finally be free!  The world is a place of wonder and delight, but the world system that runs it, is full of chicanery and fright. So do not look for answers there, the world has nothing which can compare with the Matchless Beauty, The Sovereignty, Truth and Light found in the Heart of God, or the Love which burns so Bright. Jesus is STILL the Answer for the world today. Don’t listen to the nay-sayers or give heed to what they say. Yes, things out there are dark, and the darkness will get only darker still. But now is the finest hour to be a light shining on a hill!  Will you take that upward climb?  Will you, all the follies of this world resign? Truly let your light shine!  When you have given it all to Jesus, then you are living with nothing to lose. So do not fear to come up near, to that old rugged cross so dear.  Divest yourself of all that holds you back, from running fully on that glorious racing track.  Do not look at what you can see, step out in Faith and Trust In ME!

2Co 4:17  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

2Co 4:18

(AMP)  Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

Two men of God have spoken to me and told me what they hear about 2013.

Pastor Rusty Bowles has told me it will be a Year of Activation.

Many things will get activated.

Pastor David Carey has said it will be a Year of the Holy Spirit.

Do you see how these two fit together? As we give place to the Holy Spirit and allow activation of our faith and gifts for His service, the Holy Spirit will step in to move through us, move upon us and for us.

Glory!  It is time for a glory invasion. It is time for God’s Presence through His power and signs and miracles to be so in evidence upon this earth!  We have had enough of mediocrity.  It is time for the sons of God to come forth!  Problems present themselves, begging for answers and solutions. We have the Answer!  His name is Jesus. He is the only one who can free us. So be free from the cares of this world. The tyranny and demands that do not belong to us. Truly God cares for us and is our ample reward and our shield. So loose any fear, rise up, be healed, be whole, be still and know! Know that I AM GOD!

~x~x~x~
Hallelujah! Amen!

Private Word to All of my sons and daughters:
I release this Word to you:  May you rise up in the strength of HIS Might, Be strong and Courageous and conquer every devil set against you.  I pray His Wisdom be yours, His strategies be revealed to you, and His unlimited provision to flow from His place of blessing, to you.  I speak Apostolic Blessings over you now in Jesus Name.  Rise up, Be strong and Courageous. Meet your adversities head on with
renewed confidence and energy. Stay your course and Win. Victory is in sight, if you see it by the eyes of Faith!

An Encouragement by Rev. Olu

I shared this thought on Facebook, as I got inspired through a conversation I just had with my Mother-in-the-Lord, mentor and friend. It meant so much to me and do hope it does you some good. Be encouraged. Shalom!
"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness." (Micah 7:8-9).

Hallelujah! In all your affliction, our Lord too was afflicted. He's very much with you in all your trials. He's not giving up on you! He's bringing you outta the pain and you ain't gonna be disappointed because He's already pled your case for you! Amen.  Rev. Olufunsho Omidiran

Simple Message- Give it All to Jesus

Although Evie Tornquist Karlson's music is from a simpler time,and without all the technical adornment's we find today, the message is timeless and beautiful.

The truth of the matter is, everyday we live and breath, we have a choice- to try to do it all ourselves, or to give God the reins.  Even as Christians too many times we spin our wheels "trying" to help God! Trying to fulfill our dreams, or snared into helping others to the point that we find ourselves frustrated and burned out.

This is not how God meant our lives to be.  To all you good 'church folk" out there: it is not about church functions, it is about functioning in a living, ever expanding, loving relationship with God and our fellow man!  It is not about going to church, it is BEING the church. The one that is made up of lively and precious stones, being built up and fitly joined together to form a living temple fit for HIS habitation.  We are to be living epistles, read of men... our life an example of His Love.

Love can be practiced in so many ways.  Through words and deeds. How about kindness?  How about that cup of cold water given to a parched throat, that helping hand to get back upon your feet, that smile at a stranger that warms their heart to receive more than just the smile? That "word"  that is both encouraging yet reminding the hearer that it came from God's heart through you.

We don't know what tomorrow holds, but we do know who holds tomorrow. It might look like tomorrow and all our futures are held hostage by maniacs bent on destroying life as we know it.  This is certainly true for the nation of Israel.  And really, it is true for many nations, as evil forces gather.

But even as those forces gather, there is also a gathering of God's angels.  God is not with out plans nor is He without power!  Although God put man in charge of the Garden of Eden and we blew it, He has not left us defenseless and rejected.  He sent a Savior.  He sent JESUS.  HE gave His best so that we can be our best - and actually be what HE created us to be.  His sons and daughters!

In a world that has gone so far from what the original intent of it was, and is so marred with sin and all of its by products, He still plants us in the middle of it. But this time instead of us being in a garden, we ARE the Garden. His garden.  And we are to meet Him there and share and gain what is needed for our day to day living.  Daily Manna, from Heaven.  It is still falling on the ground for us to pick up and partake of. Just come into the garden with Him and be refreshed.  And then go out into the world a firebrand, a flame, a torch, a candle that cannot be hidden!

But first give it all to Jesus.  And receive His All into your heart and life.  Amen.

Hope amidst grief for Newtown Connecticut

Jesus Wept.  John 11:35

Newtown, your pain is not unnoticed. It is not passed over lightly.  Angels have been dispatched.  Your children, your precious children... they are safe in His arms.  He did not snatch them from you, nor did He want to. But lovingly, LIFE HIMSELF received those precious lives, so rudely and violently torn from earth.

Others too, have suffered like you... School buses full of children, blown up in Israel. Children in war areas, used as shields by their own governments, to hide their weapons of destruction... Children under age two killed by the sword as Herod sought to kill the Prince of Peace, born in Bethlehem. And weeping was heard throughout Ramah, for the children that "were not."

But take heart, for your children are!  They are just in a different place.  A place you too may go to, someday.  That does not take away your pain right now, but as the reality of Heaven grows, you will find that though they are gone from your arms here, they await you there, with much love and gratefulness for your undying love for them.

That Prince born a baby, is now grown and sits at the right hand of the Father.  That Prince of Peace, Jesus, desires to do what no human can do... bring peace and comfort into your broken hearts.  Let Him. Feel His arms reaching, His hands cradling, His heart breaking also as He weeps with you.  He will give you strength to go on.  He will watch over you, even as He keeps your children safe in His Presence and awaiting your reunion. Give him now your heart; broken, bruised and sore.  Give Him also your anger, your hatred, your frustration, your confusion and doubts.  He can handle those too. Let the Great God of Heaven, The Eternal Father, and His Son, Jesus, and the Precious Holy Spirit, be your comfort, your haven, your rest, your salvation.Hear as HE speaks kindly to your hearts and let His Love wash away the pain, until just the sweet memories remain.  You will never forget your children, and HE will never forget about you.

Love is being sent your way from many places, but especially from Heaven!  Your children are there, loving you and praying for you to be healed and whole, because they are not lost, they are safe and waiting for you and they want you to know.

God Bless You Newtown, CT.

I found the line to see Jesus!

Yesterday I posted that poignant song entitled, "Where's the Line to See Jesus?"  I hope you got a chance to view the blog.

Today, I had a chance to go to my home church.  It is a distance and so I don't get to fellowship with them as often as I would like, but today I drove down to what I thought was going to be the children's Christmas Program.  Boy, was I in for a surprise!  Oh, yes, it was the children who were running the "Christmas program," but it was anything but a "program!"  It did not consist of your usual Christmas song or two, and kids in cute costumes, but rather it was a time of full blown WORSHIP to Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

God's Presence was so tangible and each piece that created the whole was done with much heart and soul.  Nearing the end, the children who were 5th-College age, sang "Holy, Holy, Holy-Praise Him and Lift Him Up."  There was no stopping at what was supposed to be the end.  We were on our feet, clapping and singing and worshiping God...  The Worship Leader motioned for the kids to come back from their seats and instead of going back up on the platform they simply lined up in one long line across the front of the sanctuary, leading us in the singing.

Suddenly, I heard: "Here is the Line to See Jesus."  When we finally stopped singing, the kids turned around with faces glowing and all I could do was weep as I saw the Line to See Jesus.  Oh,I want to be in that line everyday, don't you?
"...And a child shall lead them... " Isaiah 11:6

By the way, here are the words to the song they ended with:

Where's the Line to See Jesus?

 New Christmas Song- a MUST hear!

New Christmas Song...One of the best in years!
Let's hope the question in the message "manifests" into a reality.

Beautiful story and song.. enjoy....
About the Song... ( told by Becky Kelley )
While at the mall a couple of years ago, my then four year old nephew, Spencer, saw kids lined up to see Santa Claus. Having been taught as a toddler that Christmas is the holiday that Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, he asked his mom, "Where's the line to see Jesus"?
My sister mentioned this to my dad, who immediately became inspired and jotted words down to a song in just a few minutes. After putting music to the words, and doing a quick recording at home, he received a great response from friends. He sent the song off to Nashville without much response, except for a Christian song writer who suggested adding a bridge at the end of the first chorus. My dad then asked if I wanted to record the song to see what we could do with it. I listened to the song, made a few changes to the words to make it flow better, and we headed to Shock City Studios.It was at the studio where Chris, owner and producer, rewrote the 2nd verse and part of the chorus... with goose bumps and emotions high, we were all hopeful and felt like we had something special. The demo was recorded in just under 2 hours and sent off again to Nashville ... still no response.
Then 2 weeks before Christmas last year, my cousins Greg and Robbie decided to do a video to see what we could accomplish on YouTube. The first day we had 3000 hits and it soared from there. We received e-mails, phone calls, Facebook messages from people all over asking for the music, CD's, iTunes, anything... we had nothing. After a couple of meetings with Chris following the amazing response, we got serious. We headed back into the studio this past spring... this time with guitars, drums, bass, pianos, choirs... the real deal.... and here we are today.
Getting iTunes set up, a website put together, and loving that thousands upon thousands of Christians have come together... remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

Out of the mouths of babes come profound truths that many adults can not understand. Hopefully Spencer's observation will cause people all over to reflect on the love of Jesus, and that one day we will all stand in line to see Him.

We are most thankful to our Heavenly Father to have this chance to share our music with you. Merry Christmas everyone. From Becky and family.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Hope you enjoyed this Video and song.
So take a minute from the bustling throng and spend it with Jesus.
He's more than everything you'll ever dream , desire or need.
Love,    Nancy
