Nov. 8th is this year's day set aside to remember our persecuted brothers and sisters all over the world. Below you can click on links to get further information and ideas of how to participate and what you can do.
How many of the Body of Christ are already waiting at the hall of the Great Banquet? From the Martyrs of our fore-fathers who risked everything to follow Christ, to those who translated the Bible into an understandable language of the peoples of an earlier era and lost their lives for doing so, to the pastors and sheep found in today's climes hostile to any mention Jesus Christ.
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don't know why things happen as they do, but we don't give p and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. These bodies of ours are constantly facing death just as Jesus did; so it is clear to all that it is only the Living Christ within [who keeps us safe.] TLB 2Cor. 4: 8-10
