Beloved, Just a few thoughts to share with you…by Opal

Guest post from my friend. Hope it touches your heart! Nancy

Beloved, Just a few thoughts to share with you…

I was just looking around my home and praising and thanking Abba for how extravagantly He has blessed me, through no goodness or works of my own: EVERY good and perfect gift comes from HIM!

But my heart groans and travails over the world often, seeing how impoverished most of it is: And I’m not talking about Americans who don’t have the latest electronic gadgets: I don’t even know what most of them are! LOL!  THAT’S NOT poverty! I have lots, including a computer and cell phone that takes pix and digital camera! Which has taken thousands of memories for me…mostly the wonder of God’s creation and LOTS of people pix!

Most of humanity is in poverty; spiritually, mentally, emotionally bound and broken and battered and bruised, starving, sickness and disease, need for new body parts, drinking water that kills and carries diseases, homeless, naked, with no hope, no goal, no sense of purpose and ALL the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28. You know what I mean…The millions who were just so adversely affected by Sandy and on and on and on…

And here’s what rends my heart even more:  Our God has made EXTRAVAGANT provision for EVERY human being!  (He is El Shaddai: MORE than enough!) And I believe every generation has fallen so short of what He has for us and for the world.

If our hearts bleed over the pain and suffering and injustice in our world, imagine being the One Who has made full provision and so little has ever been accessed and manifested.  I believe with every fiber of my being that we, collectively, are at a time in history where we have the opportunity to be part of the Body of Christ whose lives radiate and manifest God Himself, with supernatural manifestations of provision for ANY need for ANY life!

I talked to Him years ago that it would be cruel if He would let us feel the pain and suffering of others without giving grace and PROVISION to see it eliminated… And that I know HE is not cruel…and I could believe to SEE His GLORY manifested!

Romans 8:32  He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

He blesses us, of course, to meet our needs, but SO FAR beyond that: to BE blessings to others!

The closer we get to Him, the more sensitive we are to His heartbeat.   By the grace of God, let’s keep saying “no” to our flesh” and a resounding YES to Holy Spirit as He nudges us!

We have seen the groans and travails of creation all over our little world, most recently through Hurricane Sandy. But here’s what the Word has to say about it:

Romans 8:12  So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.
Romans 8:13  For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.
Romans 8:14  For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Romans 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Romans 8:15  For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
Romans 8:16  The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
Romans 8:17  And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
Romans 8:18  [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!
Romans 8:19  For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].

Beloved, I believe, if our hearts are close enough to be groaning and travailing
over the pain of others across the world, we are experiencing the sufferings of
Christ and, likewise, are in readiness to see His GLORY manifested to see victory
over the curses sin and evil spirits plague our world with!  Decision by decision
choosing the spirit over the flesh.  Truly we have been created “for such a time as
this”!  I encourage you to read/meditate on all of Romans 8!  It is a mother load of
revelation knowledge!

Let Him ring the dinner bell” of signs and wonders and miracles to SHOW the world His great Love and see MULTITUDES!

Colossians 1:13delivered from the power (authority) of darkness and translated into the KINGDOM of His dear Son Jesus Christ!”

JESUS is LORD!   I pray for each of us:
God’s will: Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing else!
SHALOM!
