from Apostle/Prophetess Bobbie Jean Merck.
It was a wonderful and precious Word.
Not one for casual dispensing.
Some things we need to guard and treasure and
ponder in our hearts as Mary did.
As I was reading her Word, the Lord quickened
to me again the scripture:
Gal. 6:9 (KJV)
Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season
we shall reap if we faint not.
But then the word "weary" was changed before my eyes to "wear ye."
We've all heard it said, (or said ourselves)
"it's wearing on me," "they wore me out," or "this is wearing thin." Certainly there are many things to wear on us these days!
The word itself means to waste, impair by rubbing,
to lessen, to diminish by time,
use or instruments, to affect by degrees. to wear away,
to consume, to impair diminish or destroy by gradual
attrition (abrasion) or decay.
As I saw that phrase "wear ye" I was also reminded how satan will come to
wear out the Saints. The word "wear' in Dan7:25 actually means
to afflict mentally, wear out, to harass constantly.
But we are not to wear the cares of the world! We are to put on the new man instead.
Eph 4:23-24
[having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude],
with the new man, which was created according to the likeness of God
in righteousness and true holiness.
Don't be weary and wear ye the junk the enemy throws at you!
Gal 6:9 (AMP) And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint
in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed
season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
Wear the new man's clothing- righteousness and partake of it's effect:
Isa 32:17 (AMP) And the effect of righteousness will be peace
[internal and external], and the result of righteousness
will be quietness and confident trust forever.
Participate with the Spirit and let Him
bring you to the River where flows
healing, refreshing and release.
Get hold of that fresh mental and spiritual
attitude by soaking in that River of His Presence and let His Love
cradle you and sustain you and remake you.
Wear ye HIM.
