Word for 2013

There are already many "Words" that have been given, this is the piece that God has given to me.  I make it a practice to not read other people's prophecies until I have heard from God for myself about the coming year... so if any of this sounds like something you have already heard, it is because we all share the same Holy Spirit.  I trust that you will be strengthened and edified. God Bless You dear reader and Happy New Year to you!

Word for 2013
Look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for not all is as it seems.

As I was contemplating 2013 and asked the Lord for a word… that is what He spoke to me.  I thought about and had a few snapshots in my mind of all these different scenarios that were playing out and what things look like in the natural…   But God’s Word spoke to my heart that there are many things in front of us.  Some are good and some are bad.  But, we cannot walk by sight, or by how we feel. We cannot even use our senses to tell what is really real, for the master deceiver wants to paint a picture so bleak, that we as Christians won’t even open our mouths to speak. But we must speak the Truth of God’s Word.  We must stand on the promises that have always stood. We cannot let go, or draw back now!  We cannot fail to be with Him at the bow.  For though it looks like it, and well you may think, but our ship will not sink, as long as the helm is held by the Masters firm and steady hand. So, it is time to stand! Stand upon your watch to see.  See those things that can not been seen except by the eye of the Spirit as though in a dream.  So stretch out in Faith, dare to believe, that He has given to you what you will need. So now just receive.

Many things are presenting themselves to us, and a great deal of it is in the form of bad news.  2012 has had some disappointments in it and our hope we seem to lose.  Indeed people made promises they could not keep, problems and sorrows seemed to have grown so deep!  Bad things happened with the threat of more in store.  Economic troubles make us want to go hide and just shut the door!  Things heating up in the Middle East, will the drama never cease?  Evil forces want to take Israel down, want to wear her blood like a victory crown.  Israel is not the problem, so don’t cast your blame, for these forces want America’s downfall just the same. The Great Satan they jeer, we don’t want you here! It is the lifelong battle of darkness and light.  But the struggle will not be won only by Power and Might.  It is Spiritual for those who have eyes to see, the natural reminds us of our own mortality.  It all comes down to choices, and what will you choose?  More lies to swallow with more to lose.  Or, trust the light of One you cannot see.  Step out of Babylon’s bondage and finally be free!  The world is a place of wonder and delight, but the world system that runs it, is full of chicanery and fright. So do not look for answers there, the world has nothing which can compare with the Matchless Beauty, The Sovereignty, Truth and Light found in the Heart of God, or the Love which burns so Bright. Jesus is STILL the Answer for the world today. Don’t listen to the nay-sayers or give heed to what they say. Yes, things out there are dark, and the darkness will get only darker still. But now is the finest hour to be a light shining on a hill!  Will you take that upward climb?  Will you, all the follies of this world resign? Truly let your light shine!  When you have given it all to Jesus, then you are living with nothing to lose. So do not fear to come up near, to that old rugged cross so dear.  Divest yourself of all that holds you back, from running fully on that glorious racing track.  Do not look at what you can see, step out in Faith and Trust In ME!

2Co 4:17  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

2Co 4:18

(AMP)  Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

Two men of God have spoken to me and told me what they hear about 2013.

Pastor Rusty Bowles has told me it will be a Year of Activation.

Many things will get activated.

Pastor David Carey has said it will be a Year of the Holy Spirit.

Do you see how these two fit together? As we give place to the Holy Spirit and allow activation of our faith and gifts for His service, the Holy Spirit will step in to move through us, move upon us and for us.

Glory!  It is time for a glory invasion. It is time for God’s Presence through His power and signs and miracles to be so in evidence upon this earth!  We have had enough of mediocrity.  It is time for the sons of God to come forth!  Problems present themselves, begging for answers and solutions. We have the Answer!  His name is Jesus. He is the only one who can free us. So be free from the cares of this world. The tyranny and demands that do not belong to us. Truly God cares for us and is our ample reward and our shield. So loose any fear, rise up, be healed, be whole, be still and know! Know that I AM GOD!

~x~x~x~
Hallelujah! Amen!

Private Word to All of my sons and daughters:
I release this Word to you:  May you rise up in the strength of HIS Might, Be strong and Courageous and conquer every devil set against you.  I pray His Wisdom be yours, His strategies be revealed to you, and His unlimited provision to flow from His place of blessing, to you.  I speak Apostolic Blessings over you now in Jesus Name.  Rise up, Be strong and Courageous. Meet your adversities head on with
renewed confidence and energy. Stay your course and Win. Victory is in sight, if you see it by the eyes of Faith!
Love, Mama/Mum/ Mummy

An Encouragement by Rev. Olu

I shared this thought on Facebook, as I got inspired through a conversation I just had with my Mother-in-the-Lord, mentor and friend. It meant so much to me and do hope it does you some good. Be encouraged. Shalom!
"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness." (Micah 7:8-9).

Hallelujah! In all your affliction, our Lord too was afflicted. He's very much with you in all your trials. He's not giving up on you! He's bringing you outta the pain and you ain't gonna be disappointed because He's already pled your case for you! Amen.  Rev. Olufunsho Omidiran

Simple Message- Give it All to Jesus

Although Evie Tornquist Karlson's music is from a simpler time,and without all the technical adornment's we find today, the message is timeless and beautiful.

The truth of the matter is, everyday we live and breath, we have a choice- to try to do it all ourselves, or to give God the reins.  Even as Christians too many times we spin our wheels "trying" to help God! Trying to fulfill our dreams, or snared into helping others to the point that we find ourselves frustrated and burned out.

This is not how God meant our lives to be.  To all you good 'church folk" out there: it is not about church functions, it is about functioning in a living, ever expanding, loving relationship with God and our fellow man!  It is not about going to church, it is BEING the church. The one that is made up of lively and precious stones, being built up and fitly joined together to form a living temple fit for HIS habitation.  We are to be living epistles, read of men... our life an example of His Love.

Love can be practiced in so many ways.  Through words and deeds. How about kindness?  How about that cup of cold water given to a parched throat, that helping hand to get back upon your feet, that smile at a stranger that warms their heart to receive more than just the smile? That "word"  that is both encouraging yet reminding the hearer that it came from God's heart through you.

We don't know what tomorrow holds, but we do know who holds tomorrow. It might look like tomorrow and all our futures are held hostage by maniacs bent on destroying life as we know it.  This is certainly true for the nation of Israel.  And really, it is true for many nations, as evil forces gather.

But even as those forces gather, there is also a gathering of God's angels.  God is not with out plans nor is He without power!  Although God put man in charge of the Garden of Eden and we blew it, He has not left us defenseless and rejected.  He sent a Savior.  He sent JESUS.  HE gave His best so that we can be our best - and actually be what HE created us to be.  His sons and daughters!

In a world that has gone so far from what the original intent of it was, and is so marred with sin and all of its by products, He still plants us in the middle of it. But this time instead of us being in a garden, we ARE the Garden. His garden.  And we are to meet Him there and share and gain what is needed for our day to day living.  Daily Manna, from Heaven.  It is still falling on the ground for us to pick up and partake of. Just come into the garden with Him and be refreshed.  And then go out into the world a firebrand, a flame, a torch, a candle that cannot be hidden!

But first give it all to Jesus.  And receive His All into your heart and life.  Amen.

Hope amidst grief for Newtown Connecticut

Jesus Wept.  John 11:35

Newtown, your pain is not unnoticed. It is not passed over lightly.  Angels have been dispatched.  Your children, your precious children... they are safe in His arms.  He did not snatch them from you, nor did He want to. But lovingly, LIFE HIMSELF received those precious lives, so rudely and violently torn from earth.

Others too, have suffered like you... School buses full of children, blown up in Israel. Children in war areas, used as shields by their own governments, to hide their weapons of destruction... Children under age two killed by the sword as Herod sought to kill the Prince of Peace, born in Bethlehem. And weeping was heard throughout Ramah, for the children that "were not."

But take heart, for your children are!  They are just in a different place.  A place you too may go to, someday.  That does not take away your pain right now, but as the reality of Heaven grows, you will find that though they are gone from your arms here, they await you there, with much love and gratefulness for your undying love for them.

That Prince born a baby, is now grown and sits at the right hand of the Father.  That Prince of Peace, Jesus, desires to do what no human can do... bring peace and comfort into your broken hearts.  Let Him. Feel His arms reaching, His hands cradling, His heart breaking also as He weeps with you.  He will give you strength to go on.  He will watch over you, even as He keeps your children safe in His Presence and awaiting your reunion. Give him now your heart; broken, bruised and sore.  Give Him also your anger, your hatred, your frustration, your confusion and doubts.  He can handle those too. Let the Great God of Heaven, The Eternal Father, and His Son, Jesus, and the Precious Holy Spirit, be your comfort, your haven, your rest, your salvation.Hear as HE speaks kindly to your hearts and let His Love wash away the pain, until just the sweet memories remain.  You will never forget your children, and HE will never forget about you.

Love is being sent your way from many places, but especially from Heaven!  Your children are there, loving you and praying for you to be healed and whole, because they are not lost, they are safe and waiting for you and they want you to know.

God Bless You Newtown, CT.

I found the line to see Jesus!

Yesterday I posted that poignant song entitled, "Where's the Line to See Jesus?"  I hope you got a chance to view the blog.

Today, I had a chance to go to my home church.  It is a distance and so I don't get to fellowship with them as often as I would like, but today I drove down to what I thought was going to be the children's Christmas Program.  Boy, was I in for a surprise!  Oh, yes, it was the children who were running the "Christmas program," but it was anything but a "program!"  It did not consist of your usual Christmas song or two, and kids in cute costumes, but rather it was a time of full blown WORSHIP to Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

God's Presence was so tangible and each piece that created the whole was done with much heart and soul.  Nearing the end, the children who were 5th-College age, sang "Holy, Holy, Holy-Praise Him and Lift Him Up."  There was no stopping at what was supposed to be the end.  We were on our feet, clapping and singing and worshiping God...  The Worship Leader motioned for the kids to come back from their seats and instead of going back up on the platform they simply lined up in one long line across the front of the sanctuary, leading us in the singing.

Suddenly, I heard: "Here is the Line to See Jesus."  When we finally stopped singing, the kids turned around with faces glowing and all I could do was weep as I saw the Line to See Jesus.  Oh,I want to be in that line everyday, don't you?
"...And a child shall lead them... " Isaiah 11:6

By the way, here are the words to the song they ended with:

Where's the Line to See Jesus?

 New Christmas Song- a MUST hear!

New Christmas Song...One of the best in years!
Let's hope the question in the message "manifests" into a reality.

Beautiful story and song.. enjoy....
About the Song... ( told by Becky Kelley )
While at the mall a couple of years ago, my then four year old nephew, Spencer, saw kids lined up to see Santa Claus. Having been taught as a toddler that Christmas is the holiday that Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, he asked his mom, "Where's the line to see Jesus"?
My sister mentioned this to my dad, who immediately became inspired and jotted words down to a song in just a few minutes. After putting music to the words, and doing a quick recording at home, he received a great response from friends. He sent the song off to Nashville without much response, except for a Christian song writer who suggested adding a bridge at the end of the first chorus. My dad then asked if I wanted to record the song to see what we could do with it. I listened to the song, made a few changes to the words to make it flow better, and we headed to Shock City Studios.It was at the studio where Chris, owner and producer, rewrote the 2nd verse and part of the chorus... with goose bumps and emotions high, we were all hopeful and felt like we had something special. The demo was recorded in just under 2 hours and sent off again to Nashville ... still no response.
Then 2 weeks before Christmas last year, my cousins Greg and Robbie decided to do a video to see what we could accomplish on YouTube. The first day we had 3000 hits and it soared from there. We received e-mails, phone calls, Facebook messages from people all over asking for the music, CD's, iTunes, anything... we had nothing. After a couple of meetings with Chris following the amazing response, we got serious. We headed back into the studio this past spring... this time with guitars, drums, bass, pianos, choirs... the real deal.... and here we are today.
Getting iTunes set up, a website put together, and loving that thousands upon thousands of Christians have come together... remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

Out of the mouths of babes come profound truths that many adults can not understand. Hopefully Spencer's observation will cause people all over to reflect on the love of Jesus, and that one day we will all stand in line to see Him.

We are most thankful to our Heavenly Father to have this chance to share our music with you. Merry Christmas everyone. From Becky and family.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Hope you enjoyed this Video and song.
So take a minute from the bustling throng and spend it with Jesus.
He's more than everything you'll ever dream , desire or need.
Love,    Nancy
Focus on Heaven by Pastor Rusty Bowles
Almost everything I am hearing right now is for the body in preparation for the coming outpouring…
God has told me to spend the month of December focusing on heaven and not earth.
He said;
"Focus on the heavenlies and being seated there. Do not be concerned about the outcome of the recent election, or how congress will act. The government is on My shoulders and I am well able to turn it wherever I want it to go. It is your time to lift up your eyes to the heavens. Lift up your spiritual eyes and see what I am doing and where I am leading my remnant church. Listen to Me with spiritual ears and be ready to obey all that I tell you to do. Banish fear and doubt from your vocabulary. No longer use phrases such as “I fear that” or “I am afraid.”  Walk with Me says God, for it is a season of fulfillment.  Fulfillment of dreams, prophecies and visions. If you will hearken to My voice in this hour you will see things that you thought impossible come to pass."
Face Recognition
I've been sorting and cataloging photos for the past few days.  It's been so much fun!There are some wonderful programs out there to work with.  They even have "face recognition!"  That's not just high tech spy thriller movie-stuff anymore! Once you have tagged a face with a name, the program will continue to pick that face out in other photographs!
But it reminds me that God doesn't need face recognition programing!  He knows us by name, let alone by our faces.  How great is HIS Love for us!
Indeed, while you were yet in your mother's womb, I knew you and took delight in you! Psalm 139:15-16, Jeremiah 1:5.  Not only do I recognize your face my dear one, but I long to see it! Song 2:14 Come won't you, into the garden of My Love?
Come and share in delights known only to Me, but that I long to share with you!
Have I not told you if you will but call to Me I will show you great and lofty things that are hidden and unknown to you?  I have kept them fenced in and reserved for our time together that I may unveil them to you, my love.  Jeremiah 33:3 Amp.
For I delight in you. I delight to gaze upon your face, and study you as you work and as you sleep.  I long to share in the wonder of an open field of flowers, or the joy that a child finds in simple things like rainbows and caterpillars and puppy dogs.  My heart aches for you when you run, run run all the time and are so weary beyond comprehension, tired and stressed and burned out. This is not the life I intended for you, My Love!  But, I wait patiently for you to come to Me. To unwind and bask in Me.  I will wash over you and wipe away your cares, replacing them with the fresh air of the Wind of My Spirit.  I will refresh and restore your soul, if you will just come and lie down in the green pastures of my Presence and my Spirit and drink from the Water of Life... My very Word given to you!
You think you don't have time to come and be still in My Presence. But I tell you this my dear one;  "You don't have time not to!"  For in My Presence is fullness of Joy and it is where you will find the river that will carry you forth into My Purposes and plans for you!
So come and gaze upon My face, filled with love for you, and let me gaze upon yours...
Thanksgiving Thoughts From Me to You
Everyday is a good day for thanks giving.  "*If we lived everyday with thanksgiving in our hearts, wouldn't it be called Thanks-living?*"  Thanksgiving in our hearts enlarges the space to receive more to give thanks about.  Gratitude for the "little things" often prepares the way for the big things to arrive on the scene!  Some gifts in life are too big to adequately express in words how much they mean.  All we can do is humbly say, "thank you," knowing there are no other words we can give and yet knowing it is such a simple and feeble gesture in comparison to the grandeur of the gift. Jesus your love and sacrifice is that kind of gift. And so I humbly say, Thank you Lord. Thank you for WHO You are and then for all you do.  What a wonder You are! Worthy of all Praise,Thanks and Adoration.  This Thanksgiving Day we Give You Thanks Lord. Amen.
And to all of you reading:
May your Thanksgiving celebrations be wonderful,
happy, peaceful and blessed.
Blessings!
A Vision, and 3 Songs
I received this email today:
November 8, 2012
 I stirred from a vision of a female immersed in water, face up. I believe her eyes were open and there were flakes of some sort floating above her eyes. The first thing that I thought of was when scales fell from Paul’s eyes. This woman did not look like me. Could this be the church? Could it be America?
What do you hear?
First, I will speak of the woman.  As I read this, I saw a fully developed woman, just floating in the water, as if she was waiting or resting.  Immediately I saw a baby inside a womb in the sac of water, totally immersed, awaiting its birth.  When a baby is born, it does not have a say in the place or the setting. For such a time as this that child is brought forth. Who knows how that one will grow to touch nations.  But God does.
Secondly, there were flakes above her eyes.  Distracted by the flakes, that is where her focus was.  The enemy of us all, would have us to get sidetracked and focused on the wrong things, so as to sneak by us.  Also yes,  they are blinders, blocking her vision, blocking the light, from opening her eyes.
3rdly, Is this the church? Is this America? Or is this the American Church? Yes, Yes, Yes!  However, when she becomes immersed in the Spirit (the water) and allows herself to be washed again by the water of the Word, then revelation will come, her eyes will be opened and the scales and blinders will fall off of her.
Upon hearing the election results, an old protest song against the Vietnam war began playing round and round inside of me:  “Where have all the flowers gone?  Long time passing.  Where have all the flowers gone?  Long time ago.  Where have all the flowers gone?  Girls picked them everyone.  When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?”
When will we learn Lord to put You first in all we do?
Next it shifted into; “I wish we’d all been ready” by Larry Norman.
Life was filled with guns and war
And all of us got trampled on the floor
I wish we'd all been ready
The children died, the days grew cold
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold
I wish we'd all been ready
There's no time to change your mind
The son has come and you've been left behind
A man and wife asleep in bed
She hears a noise and
Turns her head, he's gone
I wish we'd all been ready
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/l/larry_norman/i_wish_wed_all_been_ready.html ]
Two men walking up a hill
One disappears and
One's left standing still
I wish we'd all been ready
There's no time to change your mind
The son has come and you've been left behind
The father spoke, the demons dined
How could you have been so blind?
There's no time to change your mind
The son has come and you've been left behind
There's no time to change your mind
The son has come and you've been left behind
I hope we'll all be ready
You've been left behind
You've been left behind
You've been left behind
This is a reminder and a warning.  Jesus IS coming back! And, if you think it is bad now, the world has yet to witness the depths of darkness, depravity and suffering that will be.  So, we must resolve to preach Christ, no matter the cost and win the lost!
And then it has changed to:
 We have overcome- by the Blood of the Lamb- By the power of His Blood we shall stand.  We have overcome by the Blood of the Lamb- and He will bring the victory!
No more to be defeated.  Our hearts are filled with His praise For through the blood that Jesus shed for you and me We walk in victory every day.
It seemed as though Holy Spirit was taken me on a musical journey of emotions and thoughts and then bringing me back to where lies our power and from whence comes our help.
While looking up these lyrics I came across this video by Desperation Band.  The lyrics cause you to refocus…not that we can or should totally ignore  our surrounding situations,.  Just that they should not dominate us, but rather we should dominate them!
Notice the last verse: “Power in hand, speaking the Father’s Plan
You’re sending us out, light in this broken land.  All authority, every victory is Yours…
Here am I, send me! Send me! Use my hands, my feet, and my voice.  Let me speak the truth in love!  Let me issue edicts from above.  Let me declare the manifold wisdom of God to the powers and principalities.  Let my voice, our voices, be the voice of change, bringing back the nation from godlessness to Righteousness. From liberality to morality!  From plurality to Theocracy! One nation UNDER GOD.  And when God is running things there is no darkness or shadow of turning, for in Him is Light and Goodness and Justice and Virtue and Wisdom.
Speak the Fathers Plan. It has not changed!  It is still the same!  He still uses the weak, foolish and base things of the world to confound the wise!
Speak the Father's Heart. Do not lay blame and criticize or play that game. Do your part. Pray for Christ to be formed in our elected officials.
Pray, "Our Father,  (oh that means we are related and family, so love each other and fight for not with each other!) which art in Heaven (and thus you have a much broader view than we, so help us to see)
Hallowed be thy Name.  ( Your name is still tops Lord!  There is none greater than you!  And because there was none greater, you swore by your own name and made a covenant with Abraham- and thus with me and you)
Thy Kingdom come,(with its rule and its way) Thy Will be done,(without balking and reservation) in earth ( I am an earthen vessel, so In this piece of earth Lord!) even as it is done in Heaven...
Give us this day (following you one day at a time Jesus!) our daily bread.  (You are our bread, our very life and sustenance!  We need your touch upon our lives.)
Forgive us our debts, (we owe You so much! And we say thank you so little!  We make so many mistakes...and lose our way.  Thank you for coming to Earth to show us the way!) As we forgive our debtors.  (Teach us how to forgive debtors without excusing sin. Loving the person, hating the sin. Help us Lord. Get the religiosity out of us, and bring on the real!)
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom(authority) and the Power and the Glory! Forever and ever. Amen. So be it.
Waiting for You_Prophetic Word
America waits, some agonizing, many glued to the television, watching numbers as the night crawls by slowly.  We are waiting the announcement.  Who will our next president be?
So too, Heaven waits.  Not just for America to choose a president, but a path of life or a path of death.  This is the same choice that God holds out to every nation on earth.  Heaven awaits your choice earth.  Will you choose God or will you choose self?  Will you choose Kingdom ways, or man's ways?
Long ago Israel was faced with a similar choice.  To have God as their Head, or to choose a King.  They wanted a king, so they would be like everyone else.  God gave them what they wanted, much to His heartbreak and their own detriment.
"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12 & Proverbs 16:25
On a mountain top long ago not once, but twice God gave us choices.   In the wilderness He spoke through Moses and said, "See this day I have set before you, Blessing or cursing, Life or death.  Therefore Choose Life!"  Then again on a hill far away stood an old rugged cross... and once again a choice was given.  The sacrifice of an innocent man for the guilty.  The spotless Lamb of God, to redeem the wretched sinner; ME!  And You! All of you!
 If you do well, will you not have honour? and if you do wrong, sin is waiting at the door, desiring to have you, but do not let it be your master.  Genesis4:7 (BBE)
"Awake awake o sleeper! Time has gone by and it is time to arise!  Arise before the Bridegroom cometh! Get thee ready!  Prepare your hearts!  The deceiver comes to deceive many. Do not be among those found drifting, dozing, asleep at the wheel!  Do not be taken in by vain words, swelling lies and promises!  Do not listen to men, Listen to ME, says the Lord!  I will not lie! I do not lead astray.  I have come to show you the way.  The way of Salvation. The way of the Kingdom.  The way of My Heart!  I AM your only refuge. I AM your strong tower!  I am your very present help in time of need!  The kingdoms of this world cannot save you, cannot keep you. Only I can do that!Return to ME, the Giver of Life, the Giver of all that is Good.  Return and be not forsaken, be not barren in the things that matter most!  Return to ME, for I am waiting for you."
Isa 55:1  Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing]. [Revelation 21:6, 7; 22:17]
Isa 55:2  Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy]. [Jeremiah 31:12-14]
Isa 55:3  Incline your ear [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David. [2 Samuel 7:8-16; Acts 13:34; Hebrews 13:20]
Beloved, Just a few thoughts to share with you…by Opal
Guest post from my friend. Hope it touches your heart! Nancy
Beloved, Just a few thoughts to share with you…
I was just looking around my home and praising and thanking Abba for how extravagantly He has blessed me, through no goodness or works of my own: EVERY good and perfect gift comes from HIM!
But my heart groans and travails over the world often, seeing how impoverished most of it is: And I’m not talking about Americans who don’t have the latest electronic gadgets: I don’t even know what most of them are! LOL!  THAT’S NOT poverty! I have lots, including a computer and cell phone that takes pix and digital camera! Which has taken thousands of memories for me…mostly the wonder of God’s creation and LOTS of people pix!
Most of humanity is in poverty; spiritually, mentally, emotionally bound and broken and battered and bruised, starving, sickness and disease, need for new body parts, drinking water that kills and carries diseases, homeless, naked, with no hope, no goal, no sense of purpose and ALL the curses listed in Deuteronomy 28. You know what I mean…The millions who were just so adversely affected by Sandy and on and on and on…
And here’s what rends my heart even more:  Our God has made EXTRAVAGANT provision for EVERY human being!  (He is El Shaddai: MORE than enough!) And I believe every generation has fallen so short of what He has for us and for the world.
If our hearts bleed over the pain and suffering and injustice in our world, imagine being the One Who has made full provision and so little has ever been accessed and manifested.  I believe with every fiber of my being that we, collectively, are at a time in history where we have the opportunity to be part of the Body of Christ whose lives radiate and manifest God Himself, with supernatural manifestations of provision for ANY need for ANY life!
I talked to Him years ago that it would be cruel if He would let us feel the pain and suffering of others without giving grace and PROVISION to see it eliminated… And that I know HE is not cruel…and I could believe to SEE His GLORY manifested!
Romans 8:32  He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?
He blesses us, of course, to meet our needs, but SO FAR beyond that: to BE blessings to others!
The closer we get to Him, the more sensitive we are to His heartbeat.   By the grace of God, let’s keep saying “no” to our flesh” and a resounding YES to Holy Spirit as He nudges us!
We have seen the groans and travails of creation all over our little world, most recently through Hurricane Sandy. But here’s what the Word has to say about it:
Romans 8:12  So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.
Romans 8:13  For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.
Romans 8:14  For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Romans 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Romans 8:15  For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
Romans 8:16  The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
Romans 8:17  And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
Romans 8:18  [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!
Romans 8:19  For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
Beloved, I believe, if our hearts are close enough to be groaning and travailing
over the pain of others across the world, we are experiencing the sufferings of
Christ and, likewise, are in readiness to see His GLORY manifested to see victory
over the curses sin and evil spirits plague our world with!  Decision by decision
choosing the spirit over the flesh.  Truly we have been created “for such a time as
this”!  I encourage you to read/meditate on all of Romans 8!  It is a mother load of
revelation knowledge!
Let Him ring the dinner bell” of signs and wonders and miracles to SHOW the world His great Love and see MULTITUDES!
Colossians 1:13delivered from the power (authority) of darkness and translated into the KINGDOM of His dear Son Jesus Christ!”
JESUS is LORD!   I pray for each of us:
God’s will: Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing else!
SHALOM!
If I Were the Devil by the late Paul Harvey
2Chronicles 7:14 (GW) However, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, search for me, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear their prayer from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their country.
 Proverbs 14:34  Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Saw reference to this Paul Harvey article, in a video on a TV program called: "In God We Trust."  So used "Good Search"  to look for the transcript. Here it is, The Original version, 1965. I am purposely not giving you any link, because there are "tons" of versions out there, most with a political or biblical agenda tagged on.  I wanted you to just read the words against the backdrop of "now" and then pray for America to return to God. Let's put God back at the helm of our Great Nation!  Thank you. Nancy
Blessed is the NATION whose GOD is the LORD!
******************************
If I were the Devil . . . I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would of course, want to engulf the whole earth in darkness. I would have a third of its real estate and four-fifths of its population, but I would not be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree, [thee] so I should set about however necessary to take over the United States.
I would begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you, as I whispered to Eve:
 “Do as you please.”  “Do as you please.”
To the young, I would whisper, “The Bible is a myth.” I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what is bad is good, and what is good is “square”.
In the ears of the young marrieds, I would whisper that work is debasing, that cocktail parties are good for you. I would caution them not to be extreme in religion, in patriotism, in moral conduct.
And the old, I would teach to pray. I would teach them to say after me: “Our Father, which art in Washington” . . .
If I were the devil, I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull an uninteresting. I’d threaten T.V. with dirtier movies and vice versa.
And then, if I were the devil, I’d get organized. I’d infiltrate unions and urge more loafing and less work, because idle hands usually work for me.
I’d peddle narcotics to whom I could. I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. And I’d tranquilize the rest with pills.
If I were the devil, I would encourage schools to refine young intellects but neglect to discipline emotions . . . let those run wild. I would designate an atheist to front for me before the highest courts in the land and I would get preachers to say “she’s right.”
With flattery and promises of power, I could get the courts to rule what I construe as against God and in favor of pornography, and thus, I would evict God from the courthouse, and then from the school house, and then from the houses of Congress and then, in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and I would deify science because that way men would become smart enough to create super weapons, but not wise enough to control them.
If I were Satan, I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg and the symbol
of Christmas a bottle. If I were the devil, I would take from those
who have and I would give to those who wanted, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And then, my police state would force everybody back to work. Then, I could separate families, putting children in uniform, women in coal mines, and objectors in slave camps.
In other words, if I were Satan,
I’d just keep on doing what he’s doing.
Paul Harvey, Good Day.
