More about 2012

2012. What I saw is all brightness and light. What I saw was bright light like of the noon day shining brightly. What I saw was good and goodness.  Just as Joseph saw the End of the Matter in his vision and did not see pit or prison, I did not see anything to cause a stumble, anything to cause alarm.  But I did sense that whatever may be hidden from view would have no power of sway as long as we stayed on the Pathway set before us.

For Abba tells us over and over, " I KNOW the plans I have for you..."
The Amplified reads this way: For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

So what will our choices be? Do we choose Life? Obedience or disobedience? Do we  choose Intimacy or neglect?  Do we choose Trust or trying to figure it out on our own? Do we choose His Way, or our way? His path or the one that "seems right to us but leads to death?"  Do we choose to believe or doubt?  

How we walk out this year will depend on what WE choose!  God has already chosen!  He has already prepared a good path, a good life, a good outcome.  The enemy of our souls has prepared trouble, has prepared trials and heartaches.  But God has promised us, " Many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but HE delivers them out of them all." Psalm 34:19

So stand tall!  Be of good cheer even as Jesus told us in John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]"

He does NOT paint a happy, bright picture, just to trick you and trip you up.  It is our enemy who does that... reference please Eve in the garden of Eden and the pretty spin that the serpent put on the forbidden fruit... how lovely it was, how much she would gain by it, how mean God was to try and "deprive her" and "keep her down."  Uh huh.  And we know how that played out!  No, GOD is not like that at all.  What He shows us, what he says is ours and what we can have and be, really are ours and available to us... if we only listen to HIS voice and not the voice of doubt, defeat and fear, like those 10 spies who came back with the evil report.  
It was evil because God had already said He had (past tense) given them the land, but they reported not only the lay of the land, they reported their own thoughts in their hearts and polluted everyone except Caleb and Joshua. And only Caleb and Joshua entered into the land of Milk and Honey!

So, I encourage you in this New Year, BE of good cheer!  All is not glum and dark and lost.  For Jesus the Christ has already paid the cost.  So draw near with a heart of confidence in your God, believe His Word is true, Believe He will do what He has said He will do. Believe His heart is full of LOVE and good plans for YOU!  And as you do, you will see many mighty breakthroughs, for the GOD of the Universe loves you and will move Heaven and Earth just for you!

Who are your Giving Yourself to?

This world picks away at the very centre of your beings... demanding, demanding, demanding...  deadlines to meet, rushing, frazzled, people, you go through motions, disconnected and numb.

Zombies, walking around believing you are successful because you have 2 cars, and a mortgage and can meet the demands for more things imposed upon your lives by the marketroids of the advertising gods.  

Your kids have nice clothes with brand name labels, and you know some people who know some people...

Why then do you feel so empty and weary at the end of each day?  Why do you have no energy to play, to laugh to dream?  

"Oh, but I am living the good life! I am living the dream," you say, while your heart is locked a million miles away...

And you give yourself away, to people who don't care, who pay no mind that you're there...  you give yourself away, in exchange for things that won't last, for all this world shall pass.

And then at last, your soul shall be required, maybe before you retire...and then what will you find as you leave all this world behind?

As you stand before Heaven's door... will you hear; "depart from ME evermore- I did not know you?"  Or will you hear; "enter into the joy of your Lord, and all the Best that Heaven affords?"

The choice is yours, you choose it day by day...to WHOM will you give yourself away?

The same choice was given long ago as MY chosen people before two mountains stood.  Life and death, blessing and cursing... good and bad... seems so simple and yet they stood, wavering on which way they should...

Choose Life , Choose ME that was my plea... it is the same I give to thee.  Choose life, Choose ME, I hold all the keys to your destiny.  Give yourself away to only ME, for I've already given My heart to thee!
