Song 2:10 My beloved speaks and says to me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Song 2:11 For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone.
Song 2:12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
Song 2:13 The fig tree puts forth and ripens her green figs, and the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Rise up! Receive strength and power. Be established and confirmed my love. Your confirmation comes from Me! Do not lie down any longer, stand upright, endure and be strong. Let ME validate you and prove your call valid. Set yourself in alignment with MY Promises and fix your eyes upon Me and the goal I set before you. Arise and be fulfilled. Persist and forward to your destiny. It is time to dream again of what can be, for all my Promises are Yes and Amen to thee!
Rouse yourself. Shake off the lethargy and depression of the past. Your winter is past. Stir up the gifts and callings within. Investigate once again the things you know to be true and lovely and pure and good and praise worthy. Think on and give place to these things as I work out all things for your good and for My pleasure, for I Delight in you says the Lord. Come! Dream again with Me.

1. Journal what is holding you back from dreaming.
Confess those things and let God remove them.
2. What dreams have seemed to die?
Give them now to God and ask Him to kindle them again.
3. Ask God to fill you up with hope and courage. Listen for His reply.
4. Write down those dreams and the steps you can take
to start moving towards them
5. Begin today! Dream again!

Step into the Water!
Step into the Water!
By Olufunso Joseph Omidiran www.livingsword.org
One of the keyword of the Lord that came to me for
God’s children concerning this New Year 2013 went thus: “Don’t be afraid to step into the water! The sovereign Master is
already there to carry you through. There will be supernatural surprise for
those who take a step forward in faith and simple obedience to God.” As I
was reading the Bible a short while ago, the Lord opened my eyes to a biblical
scenario that lends credence to this instruction from the Holy Spirit. We are
receiving a challenge from the Holy Spirit at this time to step forward boldly
and confidently to do God’s express will. This shall surely come to pass in
Jesus’ name. Amen.
Matthew
14:24-33
24
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind
was contrary.
25
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26
And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying,
It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But
straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not
afraid.
28
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on
the water.
29
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on
the water, to go to Jesus.
30
BUT WHEN HE SAW THE WIND BOISTEROUS, HE WAS AFRAID; and beginning to sink, he
cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto
him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32
And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33
Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth
thou art the Son of God.
The Scenario
Peter sees Jesus walking on the sea and asks
permission from Him to come join Him in the stroll. The Lord gives him the
permission to come and walk on the stormy sea and Peter goes ahead to do so.
Shortly after, he looks away from Jesus, at the terrific wind and then BEGINS
TO SINK. As soon has Peter loses his
focus, he begins to sink. The whole event is in a brief moment. But the
good news is that he cries out to the Lord for help and he is salvaged
immediately. One begins to walk in failure and defeat when we cast our focus
away from the Lord and we are enabled, helped to walk in victory when we look
up to Jesus.
-Consider
these related Scriptures: Hebrews 12:2; Numbers 21:8, 9;
John 3:14, 15
-What
can you see from the passages?
God’s instruction to us at this time is very
clear─ don’t lose focus on Jesus, believe His word to you and follow His
instruction all the way, even if it seems ridiculous or impracticable; it may seem
to not line up with the common convention of men. Will you step into the water
by faith and in obedience to the Lord? You will have the due reward if you do.
The good news again is that the Lord does not want
us to sink in the water. He is willing and ready to hear our cry as we depend
on Him, just as He did for Peter. He will pardon our weakness and failure if we
re-trace our steps and take our focus back on Him. Yes, He will. Shalom.
